door and furniture Stripping Apart from the furniture we sell we also offer a comprehensive paint stripping service for customers who wish to restore their doors and furniture to its original,rustic state.This is done in a way which is kind to the wood and enhances its original colour.Layers of paint are "soaked" away in our stripping bath because this process is non-abrasive the wood retains its antique appearance.Any residue is then rinsed away using a pressure washer.Once dry,the furniture can then be coated to suit individual requirements. due to the variety of different woods, paints and materials it is impossible for us to offer accurate quotes online or via email for your particular door or item of furniture. Finishing Many of our customers take advantage of our finishing service where stripped furniture and doors are dehumidified in our drying facilities overnight to prepare them for finishing. The wood is then lightly sanded and any repair work undertaken prior to sealing,waxing and polishing. A variety of finishes are available and we will be happy to help determine which is the most suitable for your furniture.
